What this site collects when you visit

The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from other servers: fonts, styles and images come from this server.

To answer a request, the server receives your IP address and the address of the page you asked for.

Neither the proxy in front of the site nor the site itself writes these requests down: there is no access log.

The site runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in its data centre in Nuremberg.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we use your email address for one thing: to write to you once, when the download opens. Then we delete it.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@agentaker.app; that does not affect what was done before.

1. You enter your address and agree. We send you a mail with a link. Nothing is stored on this server at this point: the link itself carries your address, encrypted, and works for 48 hours. The mail provider keeps a delivery record, as described below.
2. When you open the link and press Confirm, the server sends one mail to the operator with your address, the time you asked, the time you confirmed and the wording you agreed to. That mail is the list: it is kept in the operator's mailbox, and the server keeps no copy, no database and no file of addresses.
3. When the download opens, we write to you once and delete your address. If it never opens, we delete it at the latest twelve months after you confirmed.

To limit abuse, the server keeps in its memory, for at most 48 hours, counters keyed by IP address (for IPv6, its first half) and by a fingerprint of the email address and of each confirmed link. It writes none of them down, and they are gone when the server restarts.

The update check

The Agentaker app asks this server whether a newer version exists: when it starts, at most once a day, and whenever you ask it to check.

The request carries your IP address, the version of the app, your operating system and processor type, the kind of installer the app came from, and, only if you have a licence and your trial is over, the date until which your licence covers updates. It carries no email address, no name and no licence key.

The server uses the version, the platform, the kind of installer and the date to choose which release to offer, and writes none of these, nor your IP address, down. What the proxy in front of it logs is described above.

When you install an update, the app downloads it from this server, which receives your IP address as well.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering the app you installed the updates your licence covers (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Who else handles the data

Both mails, the one to you and the notice to the operator, are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France), which processes your address on our behalf. For each mail it keeps a delivery record with the recipient's address, also when the link is never confirmed: Brevo deletes these records, and its preview of the mail, after one month.

The notices, and with them the list, are kept in the operator's mailbox at Apple's iCloud Mail (Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland; Apple may also process data in the USA), reached through our own mail server at Hetzner in Nuremberg, which only passes the mail on and keeps no copy, which stores them on our behalf until we delete your address as described above.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21), and the right to complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany).
